It’s almost Halloween…let’s visit Salem’s world famous Halloween Festival! During the month of October the city is alive with many witches and ghouls. Per the Salem Board of Health, Effective January 15, 2022, proof of vaccine will be required for individuals age 12 and older to enter the following types of businesses: Indoor dining Museums, attractions, and indoor entertainment venues Fitness centers Acceptable proof of vaccination are: The CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card A digital image of the CDC card Another official immunization record or a digital image of the record The Mass “My Vax Record” digital vaccine card A verification vaccination application or digital vaccine card developed or endorsed by the individual’s home state or municipality. Phase 1: Starting January 15, 2022, all individuals ages 12 and over are required to present proof of at least one dose of vaccination, in either a one-dose or two-dose series. Phase 2: Starting March 1, 2022, all individuals ages 12 and over are required to present proof of either one dose of a one-dose vaccine series or two doses in a two-dose series. All individuals ages 5 to 11 are required to present proof of at least one dose of vaccination, in either a one-dose or two-dose series. Phase 3: Starting May 1, 2022, all individuals ages 5 to 11 are required to present proof of either one dose of a one-dose vaccine series or two doses in a two-dose series.
