Day 1: We will begin with a morning departure and arrive late afternoon to the Holiday Inn Oceanside located right in the heart of the resort district. Tonight, dinner will be included at Hemingway’s. (D)
Day 2: Wake up refreshed and enjoy breakfast before we depart for the day. We still start out in Norfolk with a visit to Nauticus & Battleship Wisconsin. Take a self-guided tour of one of the largest battleships built by the U.S. Navy. Immerse yourself and feel what it is like to live as a sailor. You will have time to participate in the hands-on exhibits that Nauticus has to offer. After our visit, enjoy lunch on own at the Waterside District before we go on a dolphin watching cruise. Relax and enjoy the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. After the cruise we will return to the hotel. Tonight, is yours to explore Virginia Beach. (B, L)
Day 3: After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Military Aviation Museum. This museum is home to one of the largest private collections of WWI and WWII era military aircraft in the world. We will return to the hotel after the museum. The afternoon is yours to enjoy. We will meet again tonight for dinner at Watermen’s Surfside Grill. (B, D)
Day 4: After a final breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for home with fond memories and lots of patriotic pride. (B)
